What are the aims of the FETAC Course Delivery and Assessment (Levels 3-6) Course?

Participants will develop an understanding of the FETAC course delivery and assessment procedures. The course will facilitate participants to understand:

  • The role and responsibility of an Assessor.
  • The Assessment Process.
  • Module Descriptors/Component Specifications.
  • Learning Outcomes.
  • Different assessment techniques.
  • How to develop a learning/assessment grid.
  • The difference between course delivery and assessment.
  • Different methods of course delivery.
  • The assessment brief.

Who should participate on the FETAC Course Delivery and Assessment (Levels 3-6) Course?

Trainers, Teachers, Instructors, Facilitators who are new to the development of FETAC course delivery and assessment. In addition existing providers of FETAC courses who wish to improve their understanding of course delivery and assessment.

What is the course duration?

The course is one day in duration and is conducted as a workshop. Active participation on the course is encouraged to maximize learning opportunities and to enable participants to share and learn from prior experiences.

How can I progress from this course?

On completion of this course you can progress to a 3 day accredited Assessment Practice Course FETAC Level 6 or undertake another one day workshop in Quality Assuring Assessment, Conducting Assessments or Internal Verification and the EA process.

How much does the course cost and what resources are provided?

The cost of the course is €249.00 per participant. This includes expert tuition, course materials, learner support, lunch and refreshments. Please contact us for in-house costs.
