"I gained a wealth of knowledge on the [FETAC Level 6] Specific Learning Disabilities course. It hugely increased my confidence in dealing with students.
The staff who delivered the various modules were gifted facilitators. Many different methodologies were employed which really enforced the rationale for accommodating different learning styles.
I would say it was the best organised of all the professional development courses I have attended. The administration and organisation were flawless and the FETAC accreditation was an added bonus. I hope to build on the learning by taking another course with NLN in the near future".

"I would like to thank you and your team for the excellent training we received on the [FETAC Level 6] Mental Health Awareness course. The material was very relevant to our work and we have been able to apply the learning in many aspects of our job. The trainers were extremely professional and well prepared. They all had a real understanding of the issues we face every day when dealing with clients with mental health difficulties".

"I have been employed within the HR function for nearly 20 years and a huge part of this was in training. Training of old never challenged me nor satisfied me or gave me a sense of achievement.
The FETAC [Level 6 Assessment Practice] training course has inspired and motivated me as a trainer, especially about the benefits of effective feedback to learners. As a trainer, am now interactive with my students and I most definitely leave a training session with a sense of fulfilment and achievement.
The course tutors were very helpful, professional and inspiring with their enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject. The course material is very informative. I know that, as a trainer, I still have a long way to go but as I have learned "the learning never stops”. Hopefully I will avail of your training in the future".

"Really glad I did it![FETAC level 6 Practical Skills for Trainers] I actually didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was so much to learn about teaching. It has really motivated me to think about what I want to achieve with each lecture and how to communicate best with the students. I have taught a variety of students and age ranges and am having great fun making up the lectures, especially designing the visual and hands on elements. Have even go so far as getting my horse dressed up in intestines to make the digestive lectures more lifelike! I guess in a nutshell it's a great course to get you thinking.
Thank you".
