Course Description

The aim of the programme is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and competence to work under supervision providing assistance and support within a retail/shop setting, or alternatively, to progress to further training or education. The programme also aims to support learners in achieving QQI Level 4 certification in General Learning 4M2010. Using a 60/40 Train and Place model of delivery, learners will attend in-centre theory and practical skills training three days per week and will complete a work experience placement provided by a host company in a retail environment for two days per week.
