Access
Equips learners with foundation level personal, social & work related skills that will enable them to progress to greater levels of independence & participation in their communities.
Advance
Equips learners with pre-vocational level personal, social & work related skills to enable them to progress to introductory or specific skills training and/or other training & education courses or into the world of work.
Employers Based Training
A flexible course that enables learners to acquire practical skills with a host company in a skill area of their choice. The course is a combination of on-the-job & incentre training. The EBT co-ordinator will support both learner & employer
IT by Distance Learning
A flexible course that enables learners who can not access a training centre to gain an information technology qualification from their own home. Learners are linked by modem to the centre where online tutorials are provided. This is supported by home visits & group meetings. All equipment is supplied on loan to the learners.
Jobstart
This flexible course will provide learners with the opportunity to develop essential introductory level skills, knowledge and competencies both in the centre and work environment. This will enable them to progress to further training/ education or directly to employment.
Prospects
This course will equip learners with Asperger’s Syndrome or High Functioning Autism with essential strategies & techniques to enable them to enhance their quality of life. Based around an individualised training programme, learners will be supported in making meaningful choices around their own lives & future training/education or employment options
Turas
Provides learners who experience a high level of social & community isolation with the opportunity to develop personal & social skills, to make independent choices & to explore recreational, social & vocational options.
