Courses in this Centre
This training programme is designed to offer learners an opportunity to explore personal, social and vocational skills and includes a high level of integration into the local community. Underpinning this programme is New Directions, a HSE person centred service for adults with disabilities. Modules on offer are delivered in a flexible manner and include activities and methods based on a cross modular approach. Module Codes M1 – M12 offer learners an opportunity to achieve QQI Level 3 Certification leading to a Major Award in Employability Skills (as appropriate).
Employer Based Training enables learners to acquire vocational skills with a host company in the vocational area of their choice. The programme is a combination of on-the-job and in-centre training 60% on-the-job and 40% in-centre. The Employer Based Training Co-ordinator supports both the learner and the employer. Learners choose a vocational training area that interests and suits them and the Employer Based Training Co-ordinator finds a suitable Host Company training placement within the vocational area and locality identified by the learner.
Designed for those who would like
an opportunity to make a new
