The programme is designed to provide a mix of social skills, personal effectiveness, career exploration and vocational skills sampling (facilitating students to sample a range of work options and settings) which will help them to make realistic choices for further training and employment based on their individual strengths and abilities. Literacy and numeracy needs are also addressed as appropriate to each student.
