The overall aim of the programme is to equip learners with foundation level personal, social and work related skills. Learners will progress to greater levels of independence, manage health and wellbeing, overcome social & economic disadvantage / marginalisation and participate in their own communities, workplace and society.

A flexible course that enables students to acquire practical skills with a host company in a skill area of their choice. The course is a combination of on-the-job and in-centre training. The EBT Co-ordinator will support both the student and employer.
This programme will provide learners with a wide range of office, administrative and IT skills which are needed to work in a modern office environment. The maximum duration of this programme is two years with year one devoted to working towards achieving a QQI level 5 major award in Information Processing. Year two consists of work experience to support the learners in getting jobs and developing workplace skills. Training will be delivered using a mix of structured, directed training with instructors but also gives learners the opportunity to study themselves using e-learning. Learners, typically, will go on to employment in office administration and IT-related areas or go onto higher level education.
A personal, social & employment skills course. The programme offers the learners the opportunity to achieve the level 4 Major Award Pathways to Employment (General Learning) 4M2010 . Each learner will be afforded the opportunity to participate in a Work Placement throughout the duration of the programme.
